Services Overview
GeoDataVision provides community banks
three important services. First, we offer regulatory compliance
services to help fulfill your Community Reinvestment Act responsibilities.
We scrub and prepare your loan data. We professionally analyze
your performance under the so-called "Lending Test" as defined
in the CRA regulations. And we prepare a professional presentation
containing tables, maps and an executive summary for your board
and for examiners.
The second service we provide our
clients is the extraction, compilation and the presentation
of market data in the form of easily readable spreadsheets and
colorful "thematic" maps that reveal the geographic dispersion
of important market information, including demographic data,
lending market data and competitor data. This also comprises
an important part of the "performance context" factor when a
bank's performance is evaluated under CRA by regulators.
GeoDataVision employs two powerful
computer software technologies to present and analyze information
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Relational Database
software. Together, these tools give bankers the opportunity
to actually "see" their market as never before and to correlate
distinct information sources such as mortgage market lending
activity and census demographics to give new insights into underlying
market dynamics.
Finally, GeoDataVision offers computer-generated maps in full color depicting
your assessement area as well as census tract street boundaries that
also reveal the income class of each tract. GeoDataVision maps meet
or exceed regulatory standards.
